Just like rock cairns help to guide hikers on challenging treks, therapy can help us to find our way during difficult times. Many of us will experience points in our lives when negative or anxious thoughts seem to be taking over more of our thinking than we would like. This can lead to a sense of being unmotivated, sad, or even hopeless. It is in these times that reaching out for professional help is helpful and perhaps even essential.
My integrative approach to treatment involves empirically validated interventions carefully individualized to guide clients to more positive thinking, improved functioning, and increased enjoyment of life.
